The brief/solution
After a tired looking campaign, Boots wanted to freshen things up to introduce the new No7, Boots-owned make-up range, with the emphasis to introduce a new brand positioning that focuses on “real” British women and the reward they experience from using the beauty products.
The campaign aims to show that No7 products “really work” by using images of models that have not been airbrushed or retouched and ensuring none of the models have received cosmetic surgery.
We worked with world-renowned photographer Ryan McGinlay to produce a series of images that show a close up of the models and products in their typical surroundings, demonstrating the ‘Ta-Dah’ moment within the various sequences, as a moment of feel good.
We also created a bespoke ‘Ta-Dah’ logotype, which incorporates the flourishes and impact of that ‘Ta-Dah’ moment.
The ‘Ta-Dah’ brand campaign, was launched across print, outdoor, in-store, digital, PR, direct mail and TV Advertising.
